We were staying at a Airbnb in a small southern town. Really big property, Abe had a new BF. Atkins, nesters, johnstons were all staying. We were all creeped out by the property but mom and aunt Robin kept saying it was fine. We were all downstairs and I decided to go up to a room. The door wouldn’t close, I pushed and pushed and it was like someone was standing behind it. I took it off the hinge and leaned it on the wall. I heard something scream “bye molly!” And ran back downstairs. Tell everyone we need to leave, we shouldn’t stay. Aunt Robin said show me what’s going on. I brought her upstairs I said there are things up here, I can see them. She kept whistling and was laying blankets in front of any door way. I walked all the way to where my room was and saw a man sitting on the floor, the closets were filled with clothes and he was installing something. He asked me if I could help him and he had a big smile come on his face and he said “oh yes!”. I immediately left the room and started screaming for aunt Robin, she said she was by the staircase in one of the rooms. I heard some commotion and she was sitting at the top of the stairs. She said “ they are very angry we are here, they just attacked me”. We run downstairs and she’s holding her ankle, limping. I tell everyone get together we have to leave. Just a few minutes later aunt Robin come skipping in the room with a board in her hand and wearing a circus suit. She says “ I’m so sorry it took me so long everyone lets go outside!” I said no we have to leave the property, she was smiling very wide, she glanced over at me and said everything is fine. I asked her “did you see the maintenance man in the room upstairs?” She slowly looked at me smiling and nodded her head, I said “aunt Robin he’s not really there, we have to leave” Everyone goes into the backyard and I have an overwhelming feeling we are in danger. I kept seeing snakes in the yard. Abe was sitting on a big rock abe I saw one slithering under her, my brother grabbed it and pulled his knife out to stab its brain. Every stab a burst of fluid would spray out like a shaken bottle of champagne. The kids were climbing the fence resting to peak over and see the other property behind us. I was screaming for everyone to just stop. I told everyone “aunt Robin has been attacked and something was now wrong with her, that wasn’t aunt Robin anymore!” A huge gust of wind picked up and everyone started screaming, everyone started running back to the house and I screamed “no please stop!” I woke up
Dreams like the one you described can often be rich in symbolism and emotion, revealing layers of subconscious thoughts, fears, and desires. Here are some interpretations of key elements from your dream: 1. **Airbnb and the Southern Town:** Staying at an unfamiliar location can symbolize feelings of uncertainty or a need for a change in your life. The town being in a "small southern" setting might suggest a longing for simplicity, but it could also be representative of feelings of being out of place or encountering discomfort in new environments. 2. **Creepy Property:** The unease you and others felt about the property may reflect anxieties or unresolved issues in your life. This could be a representation of feeling uneasy about a current situation or relationship, especially if you feel that others are not acknowledging your concerns. 3. **The Locked Door and Screaming:** The locked door and the scream could symbolize obstacles or repressed feelings, perhaps concerning personal boundaries. The sensation of someone pushing against the door may represent outside pressures or fears you feel are encroaching upon you. 4. **Aunt Robin's Whistling and Blankets:** Aunt Robin's actions might symbolize attempts to create comfort or protection in a chaotic situation. However, her apparent calm in the face of danger may indicate internal conflict; perhaps there are people in your life who are not recognizing your fears or are dismissing them. 5. **The Man Installing Something:** This figure could represent an intrusive presence or a fear of being controlled. His big smile could symbolize deceptive appearances—how not everything that seems friendly or benign is trustworthy. 6. **Snakes in the Yard:** Snakes often symbolize fear, danger, or transformation. Your brother’s action of trying to kill the snake could indicate a desire to confront and eliminate something harmful in your life. The image of fluid spraying may signify the release of pent-up emotions or tensions. 7. **Aunt Robin’s Transformation:** The shift in Aunt Robin's behavior—from an injured person to one wearing a circus suit—may illustrate a fear of losing someone close to you or seeing them change in a way that feels alarming. It might symbolize how people can change due to circumstances, and your struggle to reconcile that change. 8. **The Wind and Chaos:** The overwhelming wind could represent external chaos or unforeseen forces affecting your life, leading to feelings of powerlessness or panic. Overall, this dream may indicate feelings of anxiety, a sense of danger or instability in your life, and a struggle to navigate your emotions. Consider reflecting on your current circumstances to identify real-life situations that may evoke similar feelings. It's also worth exploring your relationships, particularly with those who may not be validating your concerns. Dream interpretation is subjective, so the true meaning can depend on your personal experiences and emotions related to these symbols.
